I've been following Ilana on social media and my rugrats feel like they know Mazzy and Harlow through watching them on snapchat videos, so it was a given that I needed to buy this book! It was so nice to read about the whole parenting experience from a real perspective! How refreshing it is to feel like you're doing something right instead of feeling like a failure because you can't compare to the mom's you often see on social media. Comical coffee table book
Ilana is an amazing writer, blogger, and photographer. Reading this book brought back lots of memories when my kids were smaller. She tells the raw truth about having kids.
Equal parts hilarious and terrifying as a first time mother to be. I love her blog and Facebook updates so I knew I would love this book. I enjoyed it so much that I'm considering buying a second copy for a friend of mine so I won't have to lend her mine!
A remarkably honest view of life as an average parent mixed in with examples and stories of average parents. Ilana's great sense of humor mixed in a with the blunt truth about parenting is refreshing. No parent is perfect, and we are all different. This will be the only book I buy for first time parents to be from now on.
Love Mommy shorts and her book does not disappoint! Whether you are a new parent or a seasoned one, you will get a kick out of this book!!!
I haven't been this excited about a book in a very long time!!! As a mom to a 3 year old this book was exciting to read and very relateable to my life. I cracked up reading this book and I also related to a lot of things in the book. I would highly recommend this book to moms and new moms. And even moms to be. Also I highly recommend to follow her blog!!!!
I love that Ilana Wiles isn't afraid to show all sides of parenthood, from before birth through toddlerhood. Levity is definitely something needed while in the parenting journey and it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one having some cringe-worthy experiences as I raise my kids. Great for soon-to-be and current parents alike!
